Sandalwood powder is one of the most trusted emollients available naturally. Do make sure you are using good-quality sandalwood powder. The gram flour will act as your exfoliant while the combination of milk cream, honey and rosewater keep the pH balanced. Lemon juice and tomato juice while act as your astringent, imparting the much-needed vitamin C. Sesame seed powder helps reduce skin infections in acne-prone skin. We have tweaked the ingredients based on dry, oily and acne-prone skin for your convenience.
For Dry Skin
Ingredients
Besan- 3 tablespoons
Sandalwood powder- 1 tablespoon
Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
Honey- 1 tablespoon
Milk cream – 1 tablespoon
Rosewater- 1 teaspoon
For Oily Skin
Ingredients
Besan – 1 tablespoon
Sandalwood powder- 2 tablespoons
Lemon peel powder – 1 tablespoon
Rosewater-1 teaspoon
For Acne-prone skin
Ingredients
Sandalwood powder- 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice – 2-3 tablespoons,
Besan powder-1 tablespoon
Sesame powder – 1 tablespoon
Tomato juice – 1 tablespoon
Rosewater – 1 teaspoon
Blend the ingredients well and apply the paste evenly on your face & neck. Cover your eyes with cotton swabs dipped in rosewater for a cooling effect to your skin.
After 20 mins, rinse it away with warm water. Repeat the face mask at least twice a week for the best results.
